2004 PACKAGES AT LUXURIOUS POIPU KAPILI

Poipu Ocean View Resorts, Inc., the rental agent for Poipu Kapili Resort, has announced a variety of 2004 packages for the luxury oceanfront condomium, located in Kauai’s popular Poipu Beach resort area. The special packages, designed specifically for romance, golf and women travelers, are available at Poipu Kapili exclusively through Poipu Ocean View Resorts, Inc.

Two packages are offered for couples celebrating honeymoons, anniversaries, or just seeking a romantic respite on the beautiful Garden Island. The “Sunsets and Moonlight Romance Package” includes seven nights accommodations for two in a one-bedroom oceanfront unit; a convertible rental car for seven days; in-room his & hers massage; a romantic dinner for two at Plantation Gardens Restaurant (a short walk from Poipu Kapili); chocolate-dipped shortbread cookies upon arrival; and a photographic memento of the couple on their private lanai (patio). High Season rate (1/5/04-4/20/04) for the package is $2,600 for two people. Low Season rate (4/21/04-12/20/04) is $2,365. For the ultimate in luxury accommodations, this package can be upgraded to a 2,600-square-foot penthouse suite for an additional $80 per night.

The five-night “Honeymoon & Anniversary Package” features accommodations for two in a one-bedroom deluxe oceanview unit, an air-conditioned compact rental car for five days, choice of a his-and-hers treatment at the nearby ANARA Spa or a double kayak rental for one day, chocolate-dipped shortbread cookies on arrival, and a personalized keepsake romance novel entitled “Kauai Calling”. The “Honeymoon & Anniversary Package” price is $1,465 during High Season and $1,350 during Low Season.

For couples who love to golf or golf friends traveling together, the “Tee It Up” golf package offers the flexibility of five or seven-night stays for two to four people in a deluxe oceanfront unit at Poipu Kapili. The package includes a full-size rental car for the duration, two 18-hole rounds of golf per person at the award-winning Poipu Bay Golf Course (home to the PGA Grand Slam of Golf), personalized Poipu Bay bag tags, and Poipu Kapili logo golf caps.

Price for the five-night “Tee It Up” package during high season is $2,200 for two people or $2,845 for four people. Five-night package prices during low season are $2,025 for two people or $2,770 for four people. The seven-night package price (high season) is $2,770 for two people or $3,465 for four people; low season price is $2,275 for two people or $3,065 for four people. The car can be upgraded to an SUV or mini-van for an additional $15 per day.

The Pampered Wahine (“female”) package is designed specifically for women travelers seeking luxury, privacy and relaxation. The package can accommodate up to four women traveling together and provides a variety of spa services in the comfort of the guests’ own condo. The Pampered Wahine Package includes five nights in a deluxe ocean view unit; a mid-size rental car for five days; and all of the following in-room professional spa treatments for each person on the package: a one-hour massage (Hawaiian lomi-lomi, Swedish, deep tissue or Thai), manicure, pedicure, a personal yoga training session, and choice of a facial or body wrap featuring all-natural Hawaiian products. Spa treatments are provided by Ka Hui Ho’olu (meaning “a group bringing comfort”).

Price for the package depends on the number of guests, whether a one or two-bedroom unit is preferred, and what time of year travel takes place. High Season rates are: $1,450 for one person; $1,905 for two (in a one-bedroom unit); $2,355 for two (in a two-bedroom unit); and $3,265 for four people. Low Season rates are: $1,325 for one; $1,780 for two (in a one-bedroom unit); $2,180 for two (in a two-bedroom unit); and $3,090 for four people.

With only 60 units, Poipu Kapili offers a serene and intimate ambiance on Kauai’s sunny south shore. Situated on five beautifully landscaped acres, each of Poipu Kapili’s low-rise units offers ocean views, spacious living quarters and elegant appointments. All units feature
fully-equipped kitchens, an entertainment center with television, stereo and VCR, and a comfortable private open-air lanai to enjoy the ocean view and sea breezes. Poipu Kapili offers its guests a large ocean view swimming pool, outdoor barbecue facilities, free parking, lighted championship tennis courts (rental rackets are available), lending library, video library, and use of the property’s extensive herb garden.
